Grant Awarded to YOS

Thanks to a state grant from the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, and in partnership with Red Rocks Community College, YOS is launching a new HVAC training program!

Participants who complete the program will earn certification as entry-level HVAC technicians — opening doors to strong career opportunities in a high-demand, skilled trade.

This opportunity directly advances our mission to reduce recidivism by equipping youth with the education, tools, and support needed for lasting success after incarceration.

Summer Family BBQ a Success

On August 26, 2023, WeCare-BUY hosted a summer BBQ for YOS. This was the first event since 2019. We had special guest speakers Fransau (Atlanta) and Dylan (Florida), food and games for residents and family to enjoy! Thank you, YOS management team, Iron Man Ministry and everyone else who played a role in this event.
